Job Description:

At Teaching Personnel, we are currently recruiting a Fluent Welsh Teacher for schools in Llanelli and the surrounding areas. This role will involve teaching across all key stages: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).

Your responsibilities will include planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons, using a variety of resources to encourage student exploration of different topics. You will also be responsible for marking students’ work and providing feedback to pupils, parents, and staff members. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as excellent organizational and time-management abilities, are essential for this role. A solid understanding of the primary curriculum is required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ESSENTIAL
• Fluent Welsh
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the Primary curriculum, with effective planning abilities
• Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to pass enhanced DBS checks
• Driving Licence (not essential, but preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard children and create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Develop and deliver lessons aligned with the primary curriculum through the medium of Welsh
• Assess and track pupil progress and development
• Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents
• Continuously develop your teaching skills and adapt your strategies as needed
