Welsh- Medium Teacher

Primary School

Teaching Personnel, the UK's leading education recruitment agency, are currently seeking a Welsh-speaking teacher to work across Key Stage 1 and 2 in primary schools in the Ammanford area. We are searching for a versatile teacher that can adapt  to different classes when required. Key Responsibilities

-          Safeguarding children

-          Have a good understanding of the primary school curriculum and be able to input it into engaging lessons and tasks.

-          Create a safe, positive, and inclusive environment in the classroom

-          Assess and track pupils development and progress

-          Plan, prepare, and teach lessons that cater to all

-          Communicate efficiently with staff, pupils and parents

-          Develop your teaching skills and be able to adapt your teaching strategies if required

-          Stay up to date with developments and changes of the curriculum.

Requirements

-          Qualified teacher status (QTS) – ESSENTIAL

-          Primary school curriculum expertise- a strong knowledge and understanding with effective planning abilities

-          The ability to teach all areas of the curriculum through the medium of Welsh.

-          Eligibility to work in the UK and ability to pass enhanced DBS checks.

-          Driving Licence

Schedule: Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
