Female PE Teacher – Stockport

Location: Stockport
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, temporary with the potential for a permanent placement

A secondary school in Stockport is seeking a Female PE Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher to inspire students and promote physical well-being. The school has excellent sports facilities and offers a wide range of extracurricular activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Promote physical fitness and well-being, encouraging students to lead an active lifestyle.
  • Organise and support extracurricular sports activities, including school teams and competitions.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
  • Work collaboratively with other PE staff to develop the curriculum and sports provision.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent PE teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching PE at secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum.
  • A passion for sports and student development, with the ability to motivate and inspire young people.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
