Job description

Job Title: Female PE Teacher

Location: Droylsden, North West England, Greater Manchester

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £162 - £251 per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education (PE) lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' physical abilities and performance
  • Develop and implement suitable curriculum and lesson plans
  • Organise and supervise sports events and competitions
  • Provide feedback to students and parents on progress and performance
  • Promote a healthy and active lifestyle among students

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physical Education or related field
  • Experience teaching PE in a school setting

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of PE curriculum and teaching methodologies
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to participate in physical activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organisational skills to plan and manage lessons effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional coaching qualifications in specific sports
  • Experience working with students with diverse abilities
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment
  • Full-time hours, following the school term calendar
  • Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
  • Potential involvement in extracurricular sports activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
