EYFS Teaching Assistant

Nursery Practitioner:
The role:
A Nursery in the local area is searching for a confident pro-active practitioner to support within the Pre school class, working with children aged 3-4 years. This role will be five days per week, Monday-Friday, term time only. The working hours are 8:00-15:00 with 30 minutes break for lunch. This role may possibly include working with children in small groups and supporting children with Special Educational Needs.
The setting:
The school is located in Preston. The setting offers an amazing outdoor space, to support outdoor learning and the different opportunities when outdoors. The setting caters for children from three months to five years, throughout different rooms, supporting the development of each child individually to meet their goals. Using the 3 I’s to support child development and create an enabling learning environment, along with continuous play.
The ideal Candidate:
Will hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent and have previous experience working within an Early Years Setting, with an understanding of the EYFS. The right candidate must have a nurturing personality and enjoy supporting children and seeing them develop their skills and promote independence. With great communication skills supporting parent partnership, alongside working the SENCO to inform them of any necessary information regarding children with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
