EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:

• Assist in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Provide individualised support to children
• Assist with classroom and behaviour management, following the behaviour policy
• Contribute to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support children's development

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• GCSEs in Maths and English 
• Enhanced Childcare DBS check on the update service 
• Previous experience in a similar role, working with EYFS children

Knowledge and Skills needed:

• Understanding of the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Understanding of social, emotional and mental health 
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Patience and empathy when working with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
