EYFS Teaching Assistant

Job Duties:
- Assist in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Support the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Provide individualised support to children
- Assist with classroom and behaviour management, following the behaviour policy
- Contribute to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support children's development
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- GCSEs in Maths and English
- Enhanced Childcare DBS check on the update service
- Previous experience in a similar role, working with EYFS children
Knowledge and Skills needed:
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of social, emotional and mental health
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
