Job description

EYFS Teacher

Location: North West England, Lancashire, Preston

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £120 - £150 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) students
  • Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and senior staff
  • Create a stimulating and safe learning environment that supports the development of young children
  • Collaborate with other EYFS teachers and staff to enhance the overall learning experience
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and training sessions as required

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with EYFS students
  • Knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience teaching in an EYFS setting

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of child development principles
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
  • Strong classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional training or certifications in Early Years Education
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Collaborative and supportive work environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
