Exam Invigilators Needed – Teaching Assistant Experience Preferred
Location: Newport & Surrounding Areas
Sector: Secondary Schools
Pay: £12.90 per hour (minimum)
Start Date: ASAP
Role Overview:
Teaching Personnel is looking for reliable Exam Invigilators to support secondary schools in and around the Newport area. Teaching Assistant experience is preferable, but not essential. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to assist as a Teaching Assistant once exam periods are over.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during exams and ensure proper procedures are followed
- Work closely with the exam team
- Monitor student attendance and behaviour
- Prepare the exam room and ensure all necessary materials are available
- Collect exam papers and report any incidents to the Exams Officer
- Ensure students are seated correctly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
