Are you someone who can bring grammar to life, make essays less intimidating, and spark a love for literature? If you’re an experienced and enthusiastic English tutor, we want to hear from you!

We’re on the lookout for dedicated individuals to join our team, helping students boost their confidence and performance in English Language and/or Literature – from KS3 to A-Level.


Your Role Will Include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, tailored English lessons that meet each student’s unique learning goals

  • Supporting students with exam preparation, coursework guidance, and effective revision strategies

  • Tracking and reporting on progress, attendance, and engagement using our user-friendly digital platform

  • Communicating regularly with TP Tutors, parents, and carers to ensure consistent support

  • Ensuring student well-being and safeguarding are at the heart of every session

  • Offering flexible tuition – online or in-person, to suit students’ schedules and learning preferences


What We’re Looking For:

✅ Strong subject knowledge in English Language and/or Literature (KS3, GCSE, A-Level)
✅ QTS, PGCE, or relevant teaching/tutoring experience
✅ Confident working with school-aged children or young adults
✅ Able to adapt sessions to various learning styles and needs
✅ Experience or willingness to work with SEN/SEMH learners
✅ Skilled in maintaining engagement and managing behaviour positively
✅ Passion for education, literacy, and helping students succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
