Job Title: Fully Qualified English Teacher – Liverpool (Summer Term 2025)
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Salary: Competitive – Based on experience
Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary (Summer Term 2025)
Start Date: April 2025

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with several secondary schools across Liverpool, and we are looking to appoint fully qualified English Teachers for the Summer Term 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join supportive school environments and make a positive impact during the final term of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic English lessons to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Mark and assess work in line with national curriculum standards

  • Support students’ progress and help them achieve their academic goals

  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement

  • Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • DBS on the Update Service (essential)

  • Strong subject knowledge of English Language and Literature

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • Previous experience teaching in UK secondary schools is desirable
