English Teacher - Exciting Opportunity in Stockport
Location: Stockport
Start Date: January 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time (Temporary, with potential for permanent placement)
Salary: £162–£251 per day

Are you an inspiring and motivated English Teacher ready to make a difference in students’ lives? Teaching Personnel is working with a successful secondary school in Stockport to find a passionate individual to teach English at KS3 and KS4.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress to ensure high standards of achievement.
  • Support the department in driving excellence and fostering a love of literature.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A proven track record of teaching English at secondary level.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
