We are seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join a highly regarded educational institution in Poole, starting on 22nd April 2025, following the Easter break.

This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students aged 14 to 18, fostering their academic growth and confidence in English.

About the Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet students' needs.
• Teach individuals or full classes in a face-to-face setting.
• Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and constructive feedback.
• Organise enriching extracurricular activities, such as events and trips.
• Monitor student development and maintain accurate learner records.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong knowledge of the English language and effective teaching methodologies.
• Experience supporting children or young adults, particularly those with special educational needs.
• The ability to design engaging courses that cater to varied learning styles.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• A proactive and adaptable approach to teaching, with strong problem-solving skills.
• Patience, resilience, and a keen eye for detail.
• Competency in using technology and educational software to enhance learning.

Essential Requirements

• Enhanced DBS background check, as this role involves working with children.
• A reliable mode of transport may be required due to the school's location.
