English Teacher 

Full-Time | Immediate Start | Potential for Permanent Role

Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to work in and around the Launceston area. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who can engage and inspire students across KS3 and KS4, helping them develop strong literacy and analytical skills.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons to students at KS3 and KS4

  • Support students in preparing for GCSE English exams

  • Adapt teaching methods to suit a range of learning needs and abilities

  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment

  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching English at secondary level

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students

  • A passion for English literature and language, with a commitment to student achievement

  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
