Are you a passionate and inspiring English Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of secondary school students?

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated English Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive team on a full-time cover basis. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of students, helping them develop essential language and literacy skills while fostering a love of reading and writing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach English across all key stages (KS3 & KS4).
  • Deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that encourage student participation.
  • Foster a love of literature, reading, and writing in students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Support students’ personal development alongside academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of the English curriculum.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong passion for teaching English and inspiring students.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Experience teaching English at secondary school level is desirable, but not essential.
