Are you a passionate and inspiring English Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of secondary school students?
We are looking for a dedicated and motivated English Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive team on a full-time cover basis. This role will provide you with the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of students, helping them develop essential language and literacy skills while fostering a love of reading and writing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach English across all key stages (KS3 & KS4).
- Deliver engaging and stimulating lessons that encourage student participation.
- Foster a love of literature, reading, and writing in students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Support students’ personal development alongside academic achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of the English curriculum.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Strong passion for teaching English and inspiring students.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Experience teaching English at secondary school level is desirable, but not essential.
