Teaching Personnel are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher at a well-established secondary school in Fareham. We are seeking a professional with a passion for education who can bring a refreshing attitude and positivity to the classroom.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in teaching Mathematics, a positive attitude, and a commitment to providing the highest standard of education to students. QTS is essential for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and Delivering Lessons: Develop and deliver engaging and informative lessons that follow the national curriculum for Mathematics.
  • Student Assessment: Regularly assess student progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, respect, and good behaviour.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, including special education teachers and school administrators, to best meet each student’s unique needs.
  • Professional Development: Continually update teaching skills and knowledge through professional development activities.
  • Parent Communication: Regularly communicate with parents/guardians about their child’s progress, behaviour, and academic needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
