Location: Ferndown, Bournemouth
Start Date: Easter 2025 or ASAP
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (Competitive, dependent on experience)

The Role:

As a Teacher of English, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Develop creative and well-structured lesson plans tailored to different abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress regularly, providing meaningful feedback to support improvement.
  • Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the English curriculum and extracurricular activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Who We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
ECTs are welcome to apply!
✔ A degree in English or a related subject.
✔ At least one year of experience teaching English at the secondary level.
✔ A passion for literature, language, and inspiring young minds.
✔ Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
✔ Unqualified teachers with strong GCSE/A-Level teaching experience may also be considered.
