English Teacher (Full-Time, April 2025)
Location: Blandford, Dorset

A dynamic and well-established secondary school in Blandford is seeking to appoint a fully qualified and passionate English Teacher to join their vibrant team from April 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a positive impact on students' educational journeys in a supportive and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Foster a love of literature and language, encouraging students to achieve their full potential
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to aid development
• Collaborate with colleagues to support the continuous improvement of the English department
• Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Fully qualified teacher with a degree in English or a related field
• Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student achievement
• A passion for teaching English and inspiring students to excel
• Ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Desirable:

• Previous experience teaching English in a secondary school setting
• Knowledge of current trends in English education and curriculum
