The Position: As an English Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in advancing young learners' literacy skills. Your enthusiasm for language and literature will bring lessons to life, engaging storytelling sessions, and creative writing workshops. Working alongside skilled teaching staff, you will tailor lessons to meet individual needs, ensuring each child reaches their full potential. This is a full-time role, commencing in January 2025, with the prospect of a permanent position for the ideal candidate, dependent on successful outcomes. Additionally, we offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.90.
Requirements:
- A genuine enthusiasm for English language and literature
- Preferable qualifications or experience in education
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and colleagues
- A creative and adaptable teaching style
- A commitment to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- A dedication to inspiring a love of reading and writing in young minds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
