English Specialist Cover Supervisor / Supply Teacher

- Deliver engaging, pre-set English lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes in schools across Southampton.
- Promote a positive atmosphere where students feel inspired to explore language and literature.
- Step into varied classrooms, occasionally covering other subjects if you wish to diversify your experience.
- Embrace a hassle-free approach—enjoy teaching without the burden of lesson planning or marking unless you opt for longer cover, where pay is adjusted accordingly.
Ideal Candidate
- Relevant qualifications in English (QTS, degree, A Levels, or NVQs) or proven subject expertise.
- Confident at managing classroom dynamics and motivating learners.
- Clear communication skills to help students engage with texts and writing tasks.
- Flexible, reliable, and excited to work with diverse groups of students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
