Position: Early Career Teacher (ECT) – Primary School
Location: Portsmouth and Surrounding Areas
Start Date: March 2025
Contract: Full-Time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Develop and implement individual learning plans to meet the needs of students
• Support students in their social and emotional development
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and assess student progress
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Participate in school activities and parent communications
• Embrace continuous professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate:

• Newly qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Passionate about working with children and fostering a love of learning
• Enthusiastic, creative, and proactive in developing engaging lessons
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Eager to develop professionally and contribute to the wider school community
• DBS checked (or willingness to undergo a check)
