Position: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Portsmouth
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Year 6
• Prepare students for their SATs and secondary school transition
• Provide tailored support to meet individual needs, ensuring all students thrive
• Develop a positive and nurturing classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and school community
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Maintain strong communication with parents and carers

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience in teaching Year 6 (preferred but not essential)
• A passion for teaching and inspiring children
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A creative, resourceful, and proactive approach to teaching
• A commitment to ongoing professional development
