Position: Year 6 Teacher
Location: Portsmouth
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Full-time / Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Year 6
- Prepare students for their SATs and secondary school transition
- Provide tailored support to meet individual needs, ensuring all students thrive
- Develop a positive and nurturing classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and school community
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Maintain strong communication with parents and carers
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in teaching Year 6 (preferred but not essential)
- A passion for teaching and inspiring children
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A creative, resourceful, and proactive approach to teaching
- A commitment to ongoing professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
