Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher

Are you an experienced EYFS Teacher with a passion for early literacy? We are looking for a dedicated and creative teacher who is familiar with the White Rose Maths scheme and Read Write Inc. phonics to join our welcoming team at [School Name] in Newcastle.

About the Role:

  • Position: EYFS Teacher
  • Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
  • Contract Type: Full-time or part-time available

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that support children’s development in all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Using Read Write Inc. phonics to teach early reading and writing skills, helping children develop strong literacy foundations.
  • Implementing White Rose Maths to support children’s mathematical understanding through fun, hands-on activities.
  • Tracking and observing each child’s progress, ensuring they receive tailored support to meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborating closely with colleagues and parents to provide the best possible care and learning experience for every child.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an EYFS setting, with knowledge of the Read Write Inc. phonics program and White Rose Maths approach.
  • A passion for early years education and a creative, engaging approach to teaching.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
