We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join our friendly and supportive team in Newcastle. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the final year of primary school, preparing students for their next step in education.
About the Role:
- Position: Year 6 Teacher
- Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
- Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum, including preparation for SATs.
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages both academic and personal growth.
- Supporting students in developing strong study habits and a love for learning in their final year of primary school.
- Working closely with staff, parents, and students to track progress and ensure that each child achieves their full potential.

What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Year 6 and familiarity with the SATs process.
- A strong understanding of the primary curriculum, particularly in English and Maths.
- A passion for helping children reach their potential and a positive, proactive approach to teaching.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
