Primary Early Careers Teacher

Are you a newly qualified Primary School Teacher looking for a role in your local area? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher eager to make a meaningful impact on young learners. In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the educational journey of children aged 4 to 11, inspiring them to reach their full potential.

  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

About the Role:

As our network of partner schools continues to grow, we are urgently seeking skilled Primary Teachers to provide flexible, short-term supply cover (typically 3–5 days per week). While most bookings are arranged in advance, there may be occasional same-day cover requirements between 7–9am. You will be expected to follow each school's policies, mark pupils’ work, and provide comprehensive handover notes for the Class Teacher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Use assessment strategies to monitor and support pupil development.
  • Foster a welcoming and stimulating classroom that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
  • Work effectively with Teaching Assistants and school staff.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and engaged.
  • Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • A passion for education and a commitment to high standards
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
