Reception Teacher

Are you a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our supportive primary school in Hull. If you have a talent for inspiring young minds and fostering strong relationships, we would love to hear from you!

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where every child feels safe, valued, and engaged.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons and activities that support continuous provision and maximise children's potential.
  • Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Foster an inviting and well-organised setting that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.
  • Support children through key transitions within the EYFS and into Key Stage 1.
  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress, providing meaningful feedback to children, parents, and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children.

What We’re Looking For

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply!
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and creative teaching strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to new environments.
  • Understands and upholds safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
  • Holds a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
