Teaching Personnel is currently seeking an ambitious Newly Qualified Teacher of Drama for a high achieving school seeking to expand its successful and friendly Performing Arts Department. The school is based in Wigan, Greater Manchester.
The role will include teaching and coordinating the delivery of KS3 and GCSE Drama across year groups 7 to 11. You will work with the Head of Department to enhance the provision and will get the chance to get involved with exciting projects work throughout the year.
The appointed candidate will benefit from working alongside a highly experienced department of teachers, alongside support from a highly supportive SLT team.
About the role:
- Full time permanent contract
- September 2021 start date
- Teaching Drama up to GCSE level
- Planning and delivering highly engaging lessons
- Marking pupils work and raising attainment
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a UK teaching qualification such as PGCE/PGDE, SCITT with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A relevant Performing Arts Degree or a related subject
- Have experience teaching in a secondary school
- Be looking for a long term role in September

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
