A secondary school in Darwen is seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Teacher of Digital Technologies to join their forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator with a passion for digital production, game development, and emerging technologies to shape and deliver an engaging T-Level curriculum in Digital Production, Design, and Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across the T-Level Digital Production pathway, including units in digital design and game development.

  • Plan and implement a curriculum that is aligned with industry standards and prepares students for further study or employment in the digital sector.

  • Support the development of students’ technical and creative skills through hands-on, project-based learning.

  • Maintain a strong awareness of current and emerging technologies in the digital sector.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A qualified teacher with a strong academic or industry background in digital technologies, computer science, game development, or a related field.

  • Experience in teaching digital production, game design or software development at secondary or post-16 level.

  • Confident using digital tools, platforms, and technologies relevant to the subject.

  • Passionate about innovation, with a commitment to providing a high-quality learning experience.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
