Design and Technology Teacher – Immediate Start
A secondary school in Poole is seeking a dynamic and passionate Design and Technology Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire and support students in developing their practical and creative skills in a variety of design and technology disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Foster a hands-on learning environment, encouraging students to develop problem-solving, critical thinking, and design skills.
- Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies.
- Provide assessment and feedback to ensure student progression.
- Contribute to the department’s extracurricular activities and school events.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have a relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- Be experienced in teaching design and technology at secondary school level.
- Possess a strong understanding of the curriculum and an ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Be passionate about promoting creativity and innovation in students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
