About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of learning, delivering pre-set work to students, and ensuring a positive learning environment in the absence of regular teaching staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with strong communication skills who can manage classrooms and engage with students across various subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms, delivering pre-prepared lessons to students in different age groups.
• Ensure students stay on task, providing assistance as necessary.
• Manage student behavior effectively and uphold school policies and expectations.
• Create a positive learning environment and promote respect and engagement among students.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff about student participation and progress.

About You:

• Previous experience in a classroom or youth setting is preferred (e.g., as a TA, coach, youth worker).
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Confident, adaptable, and able to quickly build rapport with students.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and engage students of different abilities.
• Flexible and reliable, with a genuine interest in supporting education.
