Job Title: Graduate Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant
Location: Wigan and surrounding areas
Salary: Earn up to £100 per day
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time, Term Time Only

About the Role:

Are you a recent graduate considering a career in education? This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience as a Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will support teachers and students across a variety of subjects, leading lessons in the absence of the regular teacher and providing essential assistance to students during their studies.

Whether you’re exploring a future in teaching or aiming to work closely with young people, this role is an excellent way to develop your skills, build confidence, and make a positive impact in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining a productive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assist students in their learning, working closely with small groups or on a one-to-one basis.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a consistent learning experience.
- Provide behaviour management support to keep students engaged and focused.
- Help prepare resources and set up classrooms for activities.

Requirements:

- Degree in any subject (Education or related fields are an advantage).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well with young people and inspire confidence.
- Previous experience working with children or young adults is beneficial but not essential.
