Cover Supervisor – Wigan Area – Immediate Start

We're looking for a committed and flexible Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools in the Wigan area, with positions available for an immediate start. Whether you're seeking full-time work or a more flexible schedule, this role offers a great opportunity to gain experience in education.

Role Overview: In this role, you will take charge of classrooms in the absence of teachers, ensuring students stay on track with their work. You’ll be responsible for delivering lesson plans that have been prepared in advance, managing student behaviour, and providing assistance where needed. This position is ideal for those who want to make a difference in students' education and gain valuable experience in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes across different subjects during teacher absences.
  • Implement pre-set lesson plans, keeping students engaged and focused.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Offer support to students who require additional help.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
