Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently working with several secondary schools based across Stoke-on-Trent (ST9). We are currently looking for part-time/flexible/full-time Cover Supervisors who are able to cover lessons across a range of subjects, working with students ages 11-16.

The role:

  • Start-date: 2nd June
  • Ongoing/long-term
  • Opportunity to earn £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience)

As a Cover Supervisor, you will cover classes in the absence of the class teacher. Work is prepared and no marking is required for this role. You will maintain a positive and supportive learning environment while ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. Additionally, you will provide feedback on behaviour and progress reports to SLT, making them aware of any issues.

  • Experience working with young students in any capacity is necessary for this role
  • Confident in maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Good knowledge of behaviour management techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff and students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
