Are you looking for a flexible role in education?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting flexible Cover Supervisors on behalf of our schools in Stoke-on-Trent. They are seeking individuals to cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring teacher/recent graduate or someone who is seeking a more flexible role.

The role:

  • Immediate start up-on registering with Teaching Personnel
  • Opportunity to earn £90-£120 per day (dependent on experience)
  • No planning or marking involved in this role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will cover lessons in the absence of the class teacher; this could include general cover across all subjects. As all work is pre-set, you will supervise and ensure the work is completed to a high standard whilst maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment. Additionally, you will communicate with other members of staff to provide progress updates and feedback on behaviour.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience working with young people in any setting is necessary
  • Confidence and ability to manage a classroom
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students and staff
  • Safeguarding certificate (must be completed upon registering with Teaching Personnel)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
