Cover Supervisor

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Stockport

Job Type: Contract, Full-Time

Salary: £450 - £500 Per week

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Job Duties:

  • Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students stay on task
  • Provide support to students with their learning and development
  • Report back on student behaviour and progress to teaching staff

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent

Experience:

  • Prior experience working with children or young people

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to follow and deliver pre-prepared lesson plans
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school environment
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Interact with students, teaching staff, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
