Graduate Cover Supervisor – Part Time

Looking for a role that helps you expand your skillset and is flexible around further education?

This is an ideal position to gain necessary skills and experience for those considering applying to teacher training courses or for those looking for some experience alongside a current course. Applicants will ideally have previous experience working within young people or relevant field, but you do not need a teaching qualification to apply!

Within this role the successful applicants will mainly be covering pre-planned lessons across a range of age groups and abilities – Giving you experience with a variety of different students all from different backgrounds.

As a Graduate Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include;

  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for learning
  • Supporting students in their understanding of lesson content - providing assistance and guidance as required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, providing encouragement and motivation to help progression.
  • Collaborating with other teaching staff to enforce school procedures and policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
