Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Preston, Lancashire

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Flexible

A secondary school in Preston are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team as a Cover Supervisor. Responsibilities:

- Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the regular teacher

- Manage the classroom and maintain a positive learning environment

- Ensure students are engaged in the assigned tasks and provide support as needed

- Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies

Requirements:

- A passion for education and working with young people

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple tasks effectively

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Flexibility to work across different subjects and year groups

- Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
