About the Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects.
• Ensure students remain on task, maintaining a productive learning environment.
• Provide classroom management, ensuring behaviour is in line with school policies.
• Offer guidance and support to students, ensuring their well-being and progress in the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar educational support role (e.g., teaching assistant, tutor, sports coach).
• Excellent classroom management and the ability to maintain a calm and focused learning environment.
• A confident communicator, able to engage and motivate students.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability, with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and willing to undergo a DBS check (or have one on the Update Service).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
