Are you an experienced Cover Supervisor with a passion for supporting primary school students?
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Cover Supervisor to join our primary school in Milton Keynes. Whether you’re looking for a full-time position or prefer flexible day-to-day supply work, we offer opportunities that can be tailored to suit your needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the class in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task and engaged in their work.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons, maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Support students with their learning, helping them to complete tasks and manage any issues that arise.
- Ensure classroom behavior is managed effectively and that school policies are adhered to.
- Provide feedback on students’ work and progress to teaching staff.
- Assist with general classroom duties, including preparing resources and supporting students' individual needs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within a primary school setting.
- Confident in managing classroom behavior and maintaining an effective learning environment.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and provide support to students with varying needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with students and staff alike.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
- A valid Enhanced DBS check (or the ability to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
