Cover Supervisors Required in Fareham!

We are seeking dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support schools in Fareham on an ad hoc basis, covering teacher absences due to sickness. Cover Supervisors play a crucial role in maintaining continuity in students' education when their regular teacher is absent. You will ensure that lessons run smoothly, students remain engaged, and a positive learning environment is maintained. If you have a subject specialism, this is a great advantage, as you may be able to support within your area of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the class teacher.

Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.

Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring they remain on task.

Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment.

Liaise with teaching staff and senior leaders regarding any issues that arise.

Complete basic administrative tasks related to the lessons covered.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

A passion for education and helping students succeed.

Adaptability and confidence to work across different year groups and subjects.

Previous experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential.

A subject specialism is beneficial but not required.

The ability to work at short notice for ad hoc cover.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
