  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, following the school’s policies to create a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning by answering questions, clarifying instructions, and ensuring they remain focused.
  • Maintain a professional and approachable manner while upholding high expectations of student conduct and engagement.
  • Ensure all work set by the teacher is completed to a high standard, collecting and returning work where necessary.
  • Work closely with teaching staff and school leadership to follow lesson plans and provide feedback on student progress.
  • Supervise students during break times or other non-teaching periods as required.

Expectations:

  • A minimum of six month's experience working within UK schools.
  • The ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and staff.
  • Adaptability and confidence in delivering lessons across a range of subjects.
  • A proactive and professional approach to working within a school environment.
  • A willingness to contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school's values.

What the School Offers:

  • A supportive and welcoming team of staff who provide necessary guidance where needed.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression within education.
  • A well-structured and engaging curriculum that enables effective lesson delivery.
  • A positive and inclusive school culture that values both staff and students.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a secondary school that is committed to fostering a high standard of education and student development. If you are a confident and motivated individual with experience in UK schools and a passion for supporting student's learning, we encourage you to apply with your CV.
