Cover Supervisors needed in Fareham! 

 

Teaching Personnel are recruiting dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisors for regular work in secondary schools across Fareham and the surrounding areas. Whether you're looking for day-to-day flexibility or longer-term placements, we have opportunities to suit your needs.

Our partner schools are seeking talented individuals who can make a positive impact in the classroom, covering lessons across all subjects with pre-planned work provided in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students stay on task with pre-set work.
  • Maintain classroom discipline by following the school's behaviour policies.
  • Provide guidance and support to students as they engage with their classwork.
  • Adapt to different subjects and year groups, delivering pre-planned lessons across the curriculum.
  • Liaise with school staff about student progress and any incidents that occur during the lesson.
  • Perform basic administrative duties, such as taking attendance and reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
