Ad Hoc & Short-Term Cover Supervisors needed in Fareham! 

 

Are you looking for flexible work in secondary schools in the Fareham area? Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to provide day-to-day and short-term cover in local schools. This is a fantastic opportunity for those seeking flexibility, allowing you to choose the days you work while gaining valuable experience in an educational setting.

 

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor:

  • Delivering pre-planned lessons to students in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Supporting students with their learning by addressing questions and providing guidance
  • Following the school's policies and procedures, including safeguarding and behaviour management
  • Ensuring that all work set is completed to a high standard
  • Liaising with teaching staff to ensure a smooth transition between lessons

 

We work with a number of secondary schools across Fareham, providing cover for staff absences due to sickness, paternity leave, school trips, and other short-term needs.

 

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
  • A genuine passion for working in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
