Cover Supervisor – Bradford Secondary School
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP or September 2025
Contract type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply

Are you confident leading a classroom, even without formal teaching qualifications? Do you have a calm, authoritative presence and a genuine interest in supporting young people in Bradford?

We’re working with a vibrant, inclusive secondary school in the heart of Bradford, looking for a dependable and capable Cover Supervisor to step in when teachers are absent. If you thrive on variety, can stay calm under pressure, and want to make a real impact in the classroom – we’d love to hear from you!


About the Role:

  • ‍ Deliver lessons using pre-set work from teaching staff – no planning or marking required

  • Keep students focused and engaged throughout the day

  • ✅ Maintain classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment

  • Feedback to staff on how the lesson went and any student concerns


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with secondary-aged pupils – in schools, youth work, sports, or similar

  • Confident communicator who can command a room and build rapport

  • Adaptable and calm in different classroom settings

  • Positive, professional, and proactive attitude


✅ Essential Requirements:

  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service – this is essential

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Two references covering the last 2 years
