Cover Supervisor Role
Are you passionate about supporting students to reach their full potential? Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in your career, or an Cover Supervisor ready to make an impact across multiple schools? We’re looking for a dedicated and adaptable Cover supervisor to work across schools in the Bath area, contributing to the learning experience of pupils in a variety of educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Assist in the delivery of high-quality teaching across a range of subjects and age groups, from early years to KS4.
- Small Group & 1:1 Support: Provide tailored learning interventions to small groups and individual pupils, adapting your approach to meet their unique needs.
- Class Cover: Take responsibility for covering lessons as needed, maintaining classroom management and ensuring learning objectives are met.
- Planning and Assessment: Support teachers in planning lessons and assessing pupil progress, contributing to learning plans and classroom activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to provide an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Whole School Support: Actively participate in school events, trips, and extracurricular activities to enrich the school community.
Desirable:
- Specialist Skills: Any particular expertise in areas like literacy intervention, SEN, or EAL would be beneficial.
- Additional Training: First Aid, Safeguarding, or other relevant certifications are an advantage.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
