We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate ALN Teaching Assistant to join our team in BATH.
- Day Rate: - £83.85 Per day
- Duration: Full Time / 8.20am – 15.10pm
- Location: – Bath, United Kingdom
- Start Date: Jan 2025
What will be my Responsibilities?
v Collaboration with classroom teachers to plan and deliver tailored educational activities, ensuring they are engaging and accessible for children with ALN (Additional Learning Needs)
v Provide 1:1 or small group support to students, helping with classwork, assignments, and projects.
v Adopt a positive and inclusive learning environment to support and develop educational growth.
What will you need?
In this role you will need to play a key and pivotal role in providing invaluable 1:1 support to children with a range of additional learning needs, including challenging behaviour, ensuring they receive an inclusive and enlightening educational experience.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate & added to the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong English-speaking/writing skills
- 24 months of references
Key Skills Required
Previous experience working with children with additional learning needs is highly desirable.
Possess a patient and empathetic approach, with the ability to build strong rapport with children from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate with students, colleagues, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
