Cover Supervisor
Job description

We are seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools in Basingstoke from January 6th, 2025. This role is perfect for experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), Teaching Assistants (TAs), or unqualified teachers looking to broaden their classroom experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Maintain classroom control, ensuring students remain engaged and on task.
- Support students of varying abilities, ensuring an inclusive learning environment.
- Promote positive behaviour, following school policies and encouraging participation.
- Build leadership and classroom management skills, gaining valuable teaching experience.
Position Details:

What We Are Looking For:
- Passionate individuals with experience working with young people in an educational setting.
- Strong communication, leadership, and behaviour management skills.
- Confidence to manage a classroom and deliver lesson content.
Requirements:
- UK residents only – you must have the right to work in the UK.
- A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
