Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher looking to inspire the next generation of learners? A secondary school in the Gosport area is seeking a full-time Teacher of Computing and Business Studies to join their team as soon as possible or from Easter. This role involves delivering engaging and effective lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, fostering an enthusiasm for computing and business, and ensuring all pupils remain on task and motivated in their learning.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Computing and Business Studies, following the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all students in reaching their full potential.
  • Keep students engaged with innovative teaching methods, ensuring lessons are interactive and stimulating.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic development.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a focused and respectful classroom.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practices.
  • Support student's personal and academic growth, offering guidance and encouragement where needed.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Computing and Business Studies at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to keep students engaged and on task.
  • A commitment to inspiring and motivating young people in their education.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
