Job description

Job Title: Classroom Support

Location:

North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove

Job Type:

Contract, full-time hours

Primary Industry:

Education and Training (Secondary Schools)

Salary:

£89 - £99 per day (6.5 hour working day)

Job Duties:

1. Providing support to teachers in the classroom setting

2. Assisting with classroom management and student supervision

3. Helping students with their learning activities and assignments

4. Collaborating with teachers to create a positive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

1. A relevant qualification in Education or a related field

2. Experience working in an educational setting

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Education or equivalent

Experience:

Previous experience in a classroom support role is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Understanding of classroom dynamics and student behaviour

2. Ability to follow instructions and work independently

3. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Safeguarding training or certification

2. First aid certification

3. Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

1. Work primarily takes place in a classroom environment

2. May involve some physical activity such as standing or walking for extended periods

3. Flexible working hours may be required depending on the school schedule

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
