Job description

Are you passionate about supporting students and helping them achieve their full potential? We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Oldham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons and individual support
  • Provide support to students with additional needs, both in and outside of the classroom
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
  • Monitor student progress and contribute to their development
  • Support students in their personal and social development, building strong relationships with them

What We Are Looking For:

  • A positive, empathetic individual who enjoys working with young people
  • Experience working in an educational environment or a related field is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive approach to supporting students' learning needs
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are preferred, but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
