Secondary School Teaching Assistant
Location: Oldham
Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Start Date: ASAP or January
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is working with a supportive secondary school in Oldham to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will provide classroom support for students, including those with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their potential and create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with a variety of learning needs in both group and one-to-one settings
- Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons and activities
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Help with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting
- Passion for helping students succeed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive, patient, and compassionate attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
