The Role
As a Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to children in their years of school. You will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and develop essential skills. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a dynamic curriculum, assessing and monitoring progress, and working closely with parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that align with the Primary Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for each child.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress through observation, record-keeping, and regular feedback.
- Foster a love of learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to grow emotionally, socially, and academically.
- Support and guide children through their transition from home to school life.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified teacher who:
- Holds a valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Has a strong understanding of the curriculum and child development.
- Is passionate about working with young children and has a positive, creative, and patient approach to teaching.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Has the ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge children to reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
