The Role
As a Class Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education to children in their years of school. You will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident to explore, learn, and develop essential skills. You will be responsible for planning and delivering a dynamic curriculum, assessing and monitoring progress, and working closely with parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential. Ideally we’re looking for someone who is willing to work across all key stages , however
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that align with the Primary Curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for each child.
- Monitor and assess children’s progress through observation, record-keeping, and regular feedback.
- Foster a love of learning through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children to grow emotionally, socially, and academically.
- Support and guide children through their transition from home to school life.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified teacher who:
- Holds a valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
- Has a strong understanding of the curriculum and child development.
- Is passionate about working with young children and has a positive, creative, and patient approach to teaching.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Is committed to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Has the ability to motivate, inspire, and challenge children to reach their full potential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
